My table doesn't have a Parasol Hole - What Can I Do?
No need to worry, as not all parasols are designed to go through a centre hole in a table. Does my Parasol need a Base?
We recommend bases with our Parasols to keep them sturdy and held down. Although one may think that it is a sufficient just for a parasol to go through a table hole, this is not the case. Should an updraft be caught under the canopy, this could end up being a health risk, or pulling the furniture set over. What is the Standard Size of a Parasol Table Hole?
This can vary from set to set, but generally they are around 50mm in diameter. For example, the Rowlinson Plumley 6 Seater Set has a parasol hole of 5cm. This makes it perfect for a Glendale Aluminium Parasol which is in a choice of 3 different colours, including green to match the cushions!
The standard width of a parasol pole is 38mm, although this can always vary. Typically they start at 34mm for a centrally mounted parasol.
