Are garden cushions waterproof?
We have LG Outdoor cushions available for purchase from our site, however these are standard fabric and not designed to be waterproof. They are made with recycled materials, but aren't waterproof.
The seat cushions which come included with the actual sets do feature weather resistant technology however, and can be left outdoors for 6 months a year, even in the rain.
Do LG Outdoor covers have extended warranties?
LG Outdoor covers are perfect for covering their sets. From the larger DXC0V08 cover, the smaller parasol covers, these fabric covers are complimentary of their range. They do however come with a standard 12 month guarantee, although being heavy duty should tell the test of time.
Why do I need a cover if garden furniture is designed for outdoor use?
Most of our garden furniture is designed to be maintenance free. For example, our plastic furniture and rattan is designed to get wet. Wooden furniture does need covering though to delay the weathering process, and lengthen the time needed before restaining.
One of the main reasons for covering your furniture though is to help keep your set clean, such as from debris from the trees, algae, and also bird muck. On rattan furniture, this can be cleaned off using soapy water and a sponge, however covering it saves the hassle.
