The perfect way to create a traditional cottage garden style display, the Rowlinson Rustic Arch features an apex style roof and attractive criss-cross latticework on the sides and top to capture the very essence of rustic life in the rural Britain of bygone days.
Using Softwood, the timbers are supplied from sustainable sources and are pressure treated for long-lasting protection against weathering and wood rot. By cutting or sinking the legs into the ground, you can alter the height of this arch to get the perfect fit, with easy to follow instructions included for assembly.
This was a replacement of an identical arch (which we had had for a good few years) which blew down in storm Eunice. The arch is well made and sturdy and is in keeping with our country garden.

Ok. Good value. Item arrived with a long vertical split on one upright. Unpacked and left under shelter for 72hrs. Built item. Painted/stained in Ronseal grey decking. Over the hot weather period and then the rain several vertical splits have appeared , one splitting from the construction point of one of the horizontal bearers. Have impregnated the major splits with Gorilla wood glue. A tad frustrating. More splits have now appeared and will repeat the gluing and painting.

Exactly what I ordered. My plan is to grow wisteria, jasmine and honey suckle over it. But I need to add like small square mesh fencing to the arch for them to grow on- more easily. I will give the arch two coats of preservative, before concreting it in. I am a 72 year old pensioner and found it hard to put the screws right in. Might have helped for the pilot hole to continue in the other post. A superb product -exactly what I wanted. Previously I had 3 tubular metal arches, forming a tunnel: which I brought from Wilco. After 3 years they were completely rusty, and falling to bits. It broke my heart to have to cut all the plants off it. Now they have a chance to star again.

Rowlinson Rustic Arch
We bought 2 arches. Arrived in good time. Our very experienced and trusty handyman erected then. He had a bit of a struggle as he said they were warped as a result of being stored inappropriately.
When offered an opportunity to give feedback the suggestion was given that if there were any problems, contacting the suppliers first was advisable.
This we did. Having explained the problem we were told that parts could be resent. This was not suitable in our view as they had been erected. We asked for a small refund. No show.
Hope this is helpful to future buyers. Sadly we wont be using them again.

Nice sturdy rustic arch looks great in the garden and fixed it with garden spikes. Fixing screws could be just a little longer as came apart when positioning the arch and had to use extra screws.

Thank you for your prompt delivery of two arches. They are now in place and look beautiful. They are well made, easy to put together and very sturdy. I am opening my garden in a few days time in aid of the hospice, so I am delighted to have the arches in time. I am sure they will enhance the garden for years to come.

When will I receive my order?
Delivery Estimates are in working days, and the estimated delivery time for each product is shown above the ‘add to basket’ button on the product page.
Deliveries are mostly prearranged directly with yourself within a few days of placing an order; being booked in directly with a member of the delivery team/carriers. This can help to confirm a working delivery date which is best for you. When ordering, please provide an active mobile phone number to help delivery to be promptly booked in, and to ensure that there is no delay in receiving your order.
Please note, that some smaller items which can be posted or go via small carrier may be dispatched immediately, without contacting you first. If you have any doubts over your order status please contact us.
Will I receive a timeslot for my delivery?
As we use a wide range of carriers for delivery, you may not receive a time slot for your order. With most orders, you would be contacted first to arrange a delivery date, so you know in advance what day delivery has been booked in for. If you know you won’t be available for your pre-arranged day of delivery, please let us know in advance and we can pass this on to the carriers to investigate the possibility of your delivery being left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
Can I choose a specific delivery date within the estimated delivery dates?
Delivery Lead Times are Estimates; if you’re looking to receive a product by or on a certain date, please contact our customer service team before ordering for help and advice.
Is express delivery available?
There may be occasions where we can dispatch items sooner, should there be space available on a delivery run. If you are looking to receive a product sooner than the estimated delivery lead time, please contact us and we can see check delivery availability to see if this is possible.
Some smaller products are applicable for next day delivery. This will be shown in the stock message on the product page, and at stage three of checkout.
If you no longer require an item or if it just isn’t for you, you can return any product(s) as a change of mind within 14 days of receipt of the good(s). This is assuming that the good(s) are unused, in the original packaging, and in the original resaleable condition. Simply contact us at sales@gardenstreet.co.uk for the return address of any items you wish to return.
Please note that perishable goods (such as turf and bulk bags of soil), and made to measure items (Burbage Fencing/Gates/Railings etc) are excluded from return.
