Review Summary - 4.1 out of 5 based on 22 ratings.

Very flimsy, wood too thin to fix a lock with key on the door. Doors don't close snugly at the bottom so we have had to fix an external bolt. Very disappointing.

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

A good value, no-nonsense shed.

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

Fairly flimsy. Difficult to assemble as the assembly cannot support itself whilst attaching to the base. Several gaps in the finished article. However as a bike store it does the job.

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

Very pleased with this product. Was after something to store the bbq etc over the winter and this is perfect for the job. Found it relatively easy to erect (about 3hrs - from opening box to final nail in the felt) and I'd say I'm a competent DIYer but by no means a builder! This site also offered the best price I could find on the net so my advice would be to go for it!

\nQuite easy to erect with the help of the son in law.The main thing is to make sure the base is absolutely level It is worth spendin an hour or so to sort this out. G.Gregory

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

I wanted a suitable shed for our bikes and in a nutshell this is it. The quality is great value for money and the finished item compliments our garden. The instructions were easy to follow and it was almost possible to construct single handed. \nI would definitely recommend and use again

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

Very good competitive price, quite fiddly to put together, definitely a two man job. Took pretty much all day and I am quite practical but when constructed it looked good and is a very useful size.\nWould recommend but just remember it is quite time consuming.

Rowlinson Large Chicken Coop

Build quality lets this coop down, fortunately my husband is a cabinet maker and had the tools necessary to make the adjustments required. However, now that it is assembled it looks good and sturdy.

Rowlinson Large Chicken Coop

This should be a market leader as once assembled it is a really great coop and value for money BUT production quality really is an issue. The floor of the coop was nearly 2cm too wide to fit - nothing to do with swelling in damp weather, simply how pieces are cut, The nesting box lid was also cut too large to fit onto the box and coop.
A power tool was essential to assemble - not all the wood was same softness and struggled to put some screws in even with drill bit.
it took 8 hours to assemble plus faff time to saw the large bits to fit. very enjoyable time though and next one would be much quicker if familiar with coop.
Painted it green and it looks fantastic as well as very functional - get the production line sorted guys and this will be the best coop ever - also think about adding wheels and bar handles to make it easy to move and then will be in major demand.

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

This wall store/shed has sturdy floor, walls and doors, the felt is good quality. The build was straightforward, not many gaps to let water in. This is a better quality than I expected, it is better than other sheds I have purchased.

Rowlinson Large Chicken Coop

Good little bike shed, built in an afternoon, pretty straightforward to build, probably easier with two people but did It with one. Nature of construction means that is likely to be some warpage before assembly but use of additional brackets straightened it all up with ease. Probably helps if you have built sheds or similar in the past in terms of doing it quickly and definitiely needs a cordless drill/driver to screw everything in. Remember to fit the doors straight in the frames as the nature of the build is that doors go on last and the shed is unlikely to be square at the beginning so if you are not careful you will fit the doors squint if not careful.

Good size and appears to be fairly solid construction albeit not super heavy duty so not a security shed out the box for expensive bikes if there is a risk of theft. You could strengthen etc if desired but fine for most things or in a secure site.

Overall great shed for the price, quick delivery and easy to build

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

Arrived with a couple of pieces of wood chipped off panels so had to correct. In order to put doors on you have to tip the frame on it's back and balance the doors on the front. The lip at the top of the frame is barely large enough to action this so as we tried to screw doors the opposite door would fall inside the frame. Lots of frustrated cursing. \nWhen screwing panels together, several of the screws split the wood as it's quite soft. Other than that, it's relatively solid and looks good. Definitely a 2 person build, one to hold panels whilst other screws into place.

Rowlinson Large Chicken Coop

Very impressed with the quality of this coop compared to many others which are flimsy in comparison. The fact that it was delivered on a pallet rather than in a box gives some indication of the quality of this coop. Very well made. Haven't actually put it together as yet as work needs doing in my run but got it so its here when I'm ready.

Rowlinson Shiplap Wallstore

Good - fits the space and serves the intended purpose - just.\n\nPoor - One of the panels arrived broken - although customer service was quick to replace it.\nPackaging wasn't particularly good and the screws and fixings could easily have fallen out in transit.\nBasic structure is fairly flimsy and not particularly secure without doing additional things.\nMetalwork (hinges etc.) not particularly strong. Hinges are screwed not bolted, so could easily be removed from the outside.\nCould do with additional bracing/brackets to hold it in shape.\nScrew holes etc. could have been pre-drilled.\n

Rowlinson Large Chicken Coop

Pros:
1/. The coop is sturdy when assembled.
2/. It is large and will comfortably house more than the generous 6 hens it is made for.

Cons:
It took a LOT of adjustments in order to assemble:
1/. Slide out tray needed to be extensively planed in order for it to fit. It was also warped on arrival.
2/. Rear door didn't fit, I was convinced the wrong one had been sent it was so far out. It needed to be planed/adjusted.
3/. Slide out litter tray is difficult to fully insert - it's necessary to have another person at the front of the coop to help put it in the correct position.
4/. Needed to add a small baton (not provided) to front of the coop to ensure the pop-hole door didn't come off the runners when the ramp was removed.
5/. The nest box roof didn't fit - it was out by a mile and needed sawing & planning. It also just 'sits' on the top !! No lock which makes it easy for predators to assess the coop.

Access to the interior of the coop is restricted to the pop-hole and a similar sized opening at the rear. . There's no easy removal of a roof or side panel in order to clean it out.

More importantly there are NO VENTILATION holes/vents.

If I hadn't decided to stain it prior to assembling it, I would have returned it. As it is I shall have to employ a carpenter to do the necessary alteration/ improvements. I assumed that buying in this price bracket I would get a quality product.

I bought this to store a touring bike - which fits perfectly. A quality product with faultless delivery and payment methods. Looks smart and a good price. Pleased to get the bike into a proper store at last!
