Garden Swing Seats & Hammocks from Garden Street http://www.gardenstreet.co.uk/rss/1/productlistings/garden-swing-seats-hammocks/cat39
Do Churnet Valley Swingseats come assembled?

All of our swingseats require assembly. The main reason for this is to allow us to be able to ship these from our site throughout the UK, and they are simply too big to dispatch pre-assembled.

The Antoinette 3 Seater Swing Seat features a substantial 155cm width seat which is enough to seat three people, and at total width of 230cm, it can be a substantial piece of kit in your garden. By arriving flat-packed, it gives people the opportunity to have a large items delivered, and also makes it easier to move into your desired place in the garden.

Should I Choose a Wooden or Metal Swingseat?

Although you may think that metal swing seats generally require less maintenance than wooden swing seats, at Garden Street most of our range of Swing Seats are pressure treated, such as the Rowlinson Dartmouth Swing Seat and Churnet Valley Cottage 3 Seater Swing Seat.

This means that the wood will never rot, and although wood may eventually look tired after it weathers, not treating it again would not affect the structural integrity. Metal Swing seats may eventually rust, so care would need to be taken if constantly leaving a metal swing seat outside.

Preference does mostly go down to personal choice though, as a wooden swing seat has a more traditional design and can complement existing wooden fences, sheds, and garden furniture.

Metal is typically more modern, although most of the metal framing is covered with cushions and a canopy to really hide the metal framework.

Do Amazonas Hammocks come with Stands Included?

To give you the best possible price, most Amazonas hammocks do not come with the wooden stands included. This is so that if you already have two trees or supports ready to hang up your hammock, you can have the choice of just buying the actual hammock itself. The Amazonas Tobago Hammock with Spreader Bar Medium is available for under £40, and is a great entry level hammock for you to enjoy and great as a gift.

If you are a true hammock lover, the Amazonas Apollo Marine Hammock Set is the one for you. This wooden stand plus hammock set is a free-standing piece, and an all in one kit ideal if you have no trees or supporting poles, but wish to enjoy the relaxation of a hammock.
Copyright 2026 Garden Street en Thu, 08 Oct 2026 09:01:02 +0100 Thu, 08 Oct 2026 09:01:02 +0100 Thu, 08 Oct 2026 09:01:02 +0100 Antoinette 2 Seater Swing Seat Antoinette 2 Seater Swing Seat
