What Shed Base Should I Choose?
There are three base options that can be with Lotus Metal Sheds:
Hard Ground Anchoring Kit: Fits through pre-drilled holes in the base rail. Kit supplied complete with masonry drill bit. Used to secure a shed to an existing concrete or slab base. Screws are cross slot headed to enable removal later if required
Steel Foundation Kit: Comprises galvanised steel channels which assemble to give a foundation area. This should later be filled with concrete after first inserting a plastic sheet below to prevent dampness rising.
Wooden Floor Kit: Comprises fully pressure impregnated tongued & grooved boards and bearers. Nails included for assembly, plus screws to fix the shed base rail to the top surface of the floor.
