The Chatsworth Summerhouse takes its inspiration from the classic Victorian hipped roof design with finials. It features lockable bi-folding double doors, two fixed and two opening windows and comes in an attractive dipped honey-brown finish.

I took delivery of my Chatsworth summerhouse after first researching quite a bit regarding the model that I wanted to get the desired look and to exactly fit the space I had. The Chatsworth came flat packed and in a honey brown colour so each part needed to be painted. There were a couple of items that needed changing and Garden street were happy to oblige quickly. I had seen the painted version and wanted to achieve that end product so set about identifying and painting the items in either Elderflower or Willow over the weeks that followed. After 3 coats I was then ready to go.The instructions were pretty comprehensive and fairly easy to follow when I was finally putting it together. It is definitely a two person job and took almost a full day to complete. I am very happy with the finished product and it looks exactly like the image shown in every detail. It also gets a coat of paint inside and out every year to maintain it's 5 year warranty. The only disappointment is the felt which I would have liked in a shingle effect.

The summerhouse looks very smart. Delivery was speedy and communication good at all stages. There were one or two issues with the product which had to be resolved by the person who was assembling the summerhouse - one piece of glass was missing so we had to get one from a local business rather than delay (extra cost) some of the timber was cracked and split and had to be planed or repaired (extra work) and measurements for the door opening didn't coincide to reality which necessitated some alteration (extra work). When insulated and painted I am sure it will be lovely and I look forward to enjoying it. Just a bit annoyed at the extra time and cost involved. Without these issued I would have rated it as 5 star.

Overall a pretty good kit with good instructions. Base dimensions on the website are smaller than the base dimensions specified in the assembly instructions which was a bit annoying as I had already prepared the base. Bought a couple of tubes of silicon to do the glazing and used only a little so the rest went on sealing any gaps before putting the coverstrips in place. Window hinges were a bit frail and replaced the screws in them as the heads were protruding. The only other problem I found was that the felt nails supplied are fine for one thickness of felt but once the felt has to be folded or overlapped then a longer felt nail is needed to get a secure fix.

Outstanding value for money compared to other vendors.very easy to erect and with the addition of insulation, pine cladding, felt shingles and a portico, I have a summerhouse comparable with product at more than twice the price. If my wife is happy, i am happy!

Absolute load of garbage. Very expensive firewood.
Whilst we now have it up and painted it looks ok but frightened to sneeze in it. Panels manufactured using staples! Sizing not accurate enough!

This is a really great summerhouse both in design and quality. All of the joints fit well and once built there were no gaps or drafts. The high ceiling gives it a roomy feel and feels quite spacious for it's 8x6 dimensions.
You pay for what you get and this is well worth the money.
The instructions are easy to follow, but it's worth both reading in advance and checking all of the pieces are there and in good order.
Two people are needed to build and definately a third person for putting the roof up, which can be a little tricky to get square.
We painted ours in the colours shown which really now make it a feature and something we are very proud to have in our garden.

overall very pleased with the product, the build instructions fairly easy to follow and final result very pleasing, only one problem but not a huge one , and that was there were 2 cover strips missing but no big deal.as i used two bits of wood off the pallet it arrived on.

I have waited to write this review until we had actually erected the summer house, hence the delay.
Apart from the fact that it requires 3 people to hold up the roof panels whilst they are being fixed into place and the bi-fold doors needed considerable adjustments before they would close smoothly, we are absolutely delighted with it and can't wait to paint it then move in.

When will I receive my order?
Delivery Estimates are in working days, and the estimated delivery time for each product is shown above the ‘add to basket’ button on the product page.
Deliveries are mostly prearranged directly with yourself within a few days of placing an order; being booked in directly with a member of the delivery team/carriers. This can help to confirm a working delivery date which is best for you. Please note, that some smaller items which can be posted or go via small carrier may be dispatched immediately, without contacting you first. If you have any doubts over your order status please contact us.
Will I receive a timeslot for my delivery?
As we use a wide range of carriers for delivery, you may not receive a time slot for your order. With most orders, you would be contacted first to arrange a delivery date, so you know in advance what day delivery has been booked in for. If you know you won’t be available for your pre-arranged day of delivery, please let us know in advance and we can pass this on to the carriers to investigate the possibility of your delivery being left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
Can I choose a specific delivery date within the estimated delivery dates?
Delivery Lead Times are Estimates; if you’re looking to receive a product by or on a certain date, please contact our customer service team before ordering for help and advice.
Is express delivery available?
There may be occasions where we can dispatch items sooner, should there be space available on a delivery run. If you are looking to receive a product sooner than the estimated delivery lead time, please contact us and we can see check delivery availability to see if this is possible.
Some smaller products are applicable for next day delivery. This will be shown in the stock message on the product page, and at stage three of checkout.
If you no longer require an item or if it just isn’t for you, you can return any product(s) as a change of mind within 14 days of receipt of the good(s). This is assuming that the good(s) are unused, in the original packaging, and in the original resaleable condition. Simply contact us at sales@gardenstreet.co.uk for the return address of any items you wish to return.
Please note that perishable goods (such as turf and bulk bags of soil), and made to measure items (Burbage Fencing/Gates/Railings etc) are excluded from return.
